OverviewA business data analyst (BDA) leads activities and partners with stakeholders on business initiatives that rely on data and analytics. The BDA is responsible for providing analytical partnership for aligned functional group, clearly communicating insights to senior leaders and collaborating cross data teams to drive broader data improvements. This includes identifying actionable insights-based business opportunities, partnering on initiative design, overseeing initiative execution, and tracking business outcomes. They apply business acumen, people domain knowledge, and analytical skills to provide direction at each phase of varied business initiatives they BDA influences solutions, prioritizes business opportunities, builds business cases, develops requirements, plans and executes experiments, creates dashboard mockups and reports data that measures key performance indicator results to explain the impact of associated actions.
