Summary: The CAE team is a pre-sales resource providing deep technical support to the field sales teams, PowerScale SEs and partner community. We are a conduit to and from the field to Engineering, Product Management, Technical Marketing, the Solutions Alliances team and executive staff. We maintain close ties with our counterparts on the CSE team, leveraging their skills and contacts when needed in order to provide answers to difficult technical questions posed by Dell EMCs Strengths:Deep technical experts on PowerScale and NAS IndustryTrusted technical advisor to Isilons customers and field sales teamsServe as the pre-sales escalation resource for Isilon SEsEnsuring the technical winCore Job Functions:Acting as a two-way conduit between the field & customers and Engineering, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, Professional Services, on Corporate initiatives and channeling product and program information from Corporate to the field - new release rollouts, workstreams, documentation, majors program, with Engineering, PMs and leading edge customers to be on the forefront of new technologies, applications and workflowsProviding deep technical resources beyond the NAS SE organizationBeing the trusted technical advisors to Corporate and Field salesMentoring and enablement of field SEs (NAS SEs, core SEs and partner SEs)Aligning with NAS SE management, PowerScale Sales management, BUS (Channel Enablement), Core Sales, strategic POC engagementsProviding detailed roadmap information to field sales and our customersStrategic engagement in EBCs, QBRs, forums, an extension of the Field CTO OfficeHeres our story; now tell us yoursDell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
