b'The Role\nThe primary aim is to support line of business (LoBs)\xc2\xa0in their use of and transition to Cloud based resources by supplying expert advice and operational support.\nNote: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.\nSupport the Business\n * Provide high level technical support on the Cloud platform to the LoBs.\n * Where necessary, be willing to lead on building Cloud solutions and embedding a BAU service model into LOB operations.\n * Support the roll out of the Cloud Operating Model.\n * Advise LoBs on best practise and work closely with Cloud Architects to apply consistent standards.\n * Support the day to day operation of the Cloud Engineering team ensuring delivery of an outstanding performing service that meets business needs.\n * Be an advocate for Cloud technologies.\n * Maintaining and monitoring the core IT infrastructure, ensuring that it is built to a \xe2\x80\x98golden\xe2\x80\x99 standard, thus adhering to all architectural and ICS standards.\n * Assist in the migration from fixed data centres to the Cloud.\n * Have an in-depth knowledge of Cloud technologies to:\n * Complete all Cloud central administrative tasks as required including subscriptions management.\n * Be the first port of call for supporting business units with their Cloud related issues.\n * Ensuring the environment is well maintained.\n * Provide operational support to LoBs where the capability does not exist and coach them to a position of self sufficiency.\n * Ensure administration practices are secure and resilient.\n * Ensure changes to configuration are properly managed and recorded.\n * Ensure reporting and configuration management processes are followed.\n * Ensure that business units are working in a secure way.\n * Ensure that business units operate in a consistent, coordinated way, with adherence to relevant controls.\n * Identify controls and risks/issues and manage/escalate as applicable.\n * Work with other Corporate IT teams to embed Cloud technologies and practices into BAU.\nChange the Business\n * Work with change programmes to support business units as they transition to the Cloud, ensuring success, continuity of service and minimisation of risk.\nConduct Risk\n * To put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business.\n \xc2\xa0\nThe Requirements\n * Demonstrable experience of providing operational support using Cloud technologies within a global organisation.\n * Passion for new technologies and the power of moving to Cloud technologies.\n * Detailed understanding of Azure.
