*Primary Location: *123 Remote Street, Arizona, LA, USA *Division: *Cox Automotive *Job Level: *Individual Contributor *Travel: *No *Schedule: *Full-time *Shift: *Day Job *Requisition Number: *202104919 Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to support two business units, Manheim Logistics and Central Dispatch, with $450M in combined annual revenue. Business planning activities include financial planning, strategic analysis, and cost management. Additional responsibilities will include performing opportunity assessments leveraging our customer data, evaluating market opportunities and share, performing external industry analysis, and performing functional team analysis. This role is fast paced, high-profile, and requires multi-tasking. Candidates must have the ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrixed organization. In addition, the candidate must be able to effectively communicate financial results and analysis outputs to executive level audiences. * Develops presentations to communicate financial results and analysis, including monthly analysis and presentations * Coordinates and develops annual P&L budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range plans * Gathers and compiles data used for identifying complex business trends/dynamic and provides recommendations; develops a method to access and manipulate data from company data systems and sources * Creates, rebuilds, audits, tests, distributes, and tracks financial models, reports, and dashboards. Recommends and implements changes * Monitors and optimizes business processes - Implements process improvement, standardizes reporting, and modeling across the business * Facilitates partnership, coordinates stakeholder communication, and completes assignments to support project objectives * Evaluate business performance by developing reporting tools to ensure the company achieves desired results from key business decisions and initiatives * Complete special projects and prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as needed Qualifications: * Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this . based job. (Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.) * BS/BA in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics etc.); Accounting degree with FP&A experience also acceptable * 5+ years of experience in related field with focus on data analysis, financial planning/analysis, or business case modeling * Certification is required in some areas * Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Advanced financial modeling and data analysis presentation experience * Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization * Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and ability to work under tight deadlines.
