Kitsap Credit Union is adding a Director of Human Resources to our team. In this role, you will really get to be involved in all facets of HR: from employee engagement and relations, benefits and payroll, recruiting, and operations. This role would be good for someone who likes being hands on, helping to create an employee-centric culture, and building a team under you. You will be working at our beautiful corporate office in downtown Bremerton (with a partial remote option) and reporting the the VP of Human Resources. The team is fun and committed to giving the best experience possible to the Credit Union employees.
Some of What You Will Do
Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including; talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance
Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; resolving problems; and implementing change
Leads compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal requirements
Oversees employee benefit programs
Manage the annual performance review program
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required
Minimum 8 years’ related work experience required
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
