This is a unique, "ground floor" opportunity to participate in the development of something brand new. You will be a valued contributor to the process and will be provided the chance to help shape the future of the Car Sales division. The ideal candidate would be:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Support other operational units within the store to achieve maximum return on opportunity for the dealership

  • Exhibit a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity and accountability.

  • Accountable for daily performance metrics in sales, appointments and call follow-up

  • Train and direct a team of Car Sales Representatives

  • Must be a strong closer willing to engage customers early in the sale to obtain maximum gross

  • Actively support, encourage and motivate sales personnel daily to maintain high morale

  • Assist in managing profitable wholesale and retail transactions through Car Sales Consultant and F & I Teams

  • Finalizing Purchase, Trade-in, and Sales agreements, contracts, etc.

  • Motivating Team members

  • Lot display, inventory management & pricing

  • Assist in managing a cost efficient and quality reconditioning process

  • Utilizing e-commerce tools, ie social media, listing services, inventory systems, etc

  • Executing advertising and promotional plans

  • Assisting with various Remarketing initiatives

  • Assist in managing Rent 2 Buy sales and related processes

  • Work closely with Hertz Rental facilities

Essential Requirements

Educational Background:

4 year college degree preferred

Professional Experience:

Experience in Auto dealership and car sales

Experience in Auto financing and car sales regulations

Experience with Auto Lenders

Previous supervision or managerial experience with P&L responsibility

Knowledge

Experience leading and motivating a Car Sales team

Knowledge of F&I process

Strong Business acumen

Knowledge of industry pricing tools

Vehicle product knowledge (features and benefits)

Skills:

Effective Management skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong communication and presentation skills

Effectively interact with all levels of the organization

Strong sales and F&I skills

Self-motivated, goal oriented.

Excellent customer service skills
