The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to assess and resolve product/process aircraft issues through the product/aircraft lifecycle. They will analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances. Identify, document and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety, as well as develop and implement product/process are looking for proactive individuals who can make quick engineering decisions and who want go beyond their desk and into the factory for hands on engineering. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, partnering closely with production are seeking candidates who are able to work variable shifts; the candidate may be assigned to first, second, or third shift as well as weekend or daily overtime. This requirement varies from site to site and is typically covered on a rotation position involves daily exposure to factory environment which includes stairs, trip hazards, high noise areas, chemical hazards (breathing and handling), and entering airplanes during their many stages of Responsibilities:Applies basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout production and/or for technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the , conducts failure analysis, root cause analysis and troubleshoots to understand root written dispositions for routine design non- activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety and product/process routine customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment. Participates inMaterial Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).Represents the engineering community in the build through post production simple non-destructive test procedures, tools, simple static strength analysis to validate interim design repairs meet original design loads position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 .R. is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1+ years of experience in an engineering discipline1+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teamsBachelor of Science degree or higher in: Mechanical, Aerospace / Aeronautical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Material Science EngineeringMaterial Review Board Certification experience or similar Liaison Engineering experienceAerospace experience, fabrications, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experienceProduction engineering experienceRelevant technological knowledgeExcellent problem solving skillsAbility to lead, work independently and in a team environmentTypical Education / Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (. Master).
