The Risk Credit Bureau Management Regulatory SVP will lead key initiatives across credit bureau strategy, reporting and disputes to ensure regulatory adherence, strengthen the control environment and drive towards a single credit bureau model across Citis . Consumer Bank (USCB). The scope of the role will include driving transformational change through managing strategic initiatives end-to-end on activities related to credit bureau governance including:Strengthening our oversight, governance and control framework through driving consistency across Citi USCBs LOBs including account management, underwriting, credit attribute strategy, data furnishing and all related activitiesDesigning and manage strategic contracts and RFPs through collaborative partnerships with business stakeholders and Citis sourcing team on sophisticated initiatives to drive innovation and optimization of Citis expenditure in this critical spaceLead and engage on various enterprise-wide vendor oversight activities with the credit bureaus and related strategic partnersThe successful candidate will have a comprehensive background in credit bureau data/tools/operational capabilities, Risk Management governance and control framework, a detailed understanding in the regulatory environment, strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to drive innovation on strategic :Drive credit bureau (consumer and commercial) strategies through collaboration across centralized Risk organizationLead activities to deliver a single, aligned attribute strategy and governance model across Citi USCBDesign and negotiate contracts to leverage Citis economies of scaleEngage with Citi Legal and Compliance organizations to ensure policies and practices align with all laws and regulationsManage issue resolution with business, Legal and Compliance partnersBuild on existing and establish new, robust audit controls and documentationSupport enhancements to credit bureau reporting and disputes initiativesEngage with credit reporting team to drive innovation in the data furnishing process to deliver next-generation capabilities including dynamic reporting functionality, enhanced controls, automated validation steps and enhanced tracking and reporting toolsBuild and manage executive reporting on key metricsRepresent Citi in industry forums (Auriemma, CDIA, etc.).Establish and oversee the application of operational risk policies, technology, tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risksPlay a key role in identifying and resolving any issues that ariseManage a team of bank officersIndependently assess risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practicesGovernance and oversight may include (not limited to) technology operational risk, cyber risk for exampleServes as an oversight function working with the In-Business OR and Independent Risk TeamsEnsures Operation Risk Policy implementation and exception approvalsInforms Operational Risk Council on Sub-Segment Level OR related mattersAttends/leads In Business Risk CommitteesLeads- oversees the annual Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reviewsMonitors KRCIs triggers and thresholds and the analysis by the BusinessLiaises with Business ORM on breaches and action steps to correct breachesCommunicates and Escalates breaches in KRCIs at the Segment LevelAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standardsQualifications:8+ years relevant experience with credit bureau data/solutions, vendor oversight, the regulatory environment, credit data reporting/disputes, contract negotiations, analytics. Other risk and control disciplines would be a plus credit, and in Internal Audit or Financial Control would be in the following would be beneficial: Risk Management Operations and Systems, Vendor/Outsourcing Management, and MCA Legal and Regulatory Compliance ManagementExcellent communication skills verbal & writtenEducation:Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
