Tech Project Leader
Responsible for leading projects with support from technical project managers.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings; work with leadership to identify; implement project scope, project schedules, and management documentation.
  • During project initiation, collaborate with project sponsors to define objectives and resource managers for project staffing.
  • Engage project team resources to define project requirements; identify work breakdown structures; capture work backlogs.
  • Determines task owners, facilitate daily stand-up and/or weekly meetings; monitor task progress; develop deployment plans; coordinate product demonstrations, and facilitate lessons learned/retrospective discussions.
  • Will also be responsible for working with the project team to identify, analyze, quantify, and mitigate project risks to reduce both probably and impact to the program.
  • Provide program reporting, stakeholder communications, and support internal collaboration tool configurations.
  • This will include creating/maintaining appropriate status report or related documentation capturing project progress via designated methods of measurement (milestones, metrics, etc.).
  • This role will also be a primary point of contact to both internal and external stakeholders, providing project updates according to the stakeholder communication plan the Project Lead developed in conjunction the Project Sponsor and other Key Stakeholders at project initiation.
  • This position will manage IT projects that will either have project-specific budget accountability or will roll up into program-level budgets.
    Tech Project Manager
    Works with business partners to identify and implement multiple technical projects of varying sizes, as defined by Company methodology, such as broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development, building enterprise applications or data warehouse planning and development. Manages projects at least $1M in size or equal complexity.
    Primary Duties Include but are not limited to:
  • Manages the development of a prescribed planning document; develops project charter; partners with sponsors to secure project approval,
  • Develops communication management plan; defines project team roles and responsibilities
  • Develops work plan structure and project schedule; develops deployment plan; leads project meetings; identifies.
  • Documents and prioritizes scope changes and facilitates approval process; maintains and updates all project documents; secures the appropriate skill sets for project.
  • Sets and manages expectations with resource managers and team members; provides performance feedback to team members and resource managers; maintains issue log; facilitates resolution of issues; executes communication plans; regularly reports status of reports.
  • Manages and monitors ROI throughout the project lifecycle; tracks and manages time and budget against plan; develops testing strategy; conduct project close-out activities; prepares and participates in quality review checkpoints; obtain/secure and archive necessary approvals; manage and update project plan; and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Directs system analysts, software designers and programmers to determine best methods to achieve project objectives.
  • Works with moderate guidance and is responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems.
  • Operates within defined parameters using project management methodology.
    Tech Project Management Senior
    In this role, you will work independently with business partners to identify and implement medium to large technical projects, as defined by Company methodology, such as broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development, building enterprise applications or data warehouse planning and development. You will manage projects at least $5-7 M in size or equal complexity.
    Primary Duties Include but are not limited to:
  • Directs system analysts, software designers and programmers to determine best methods to achieve project objectives.
  • Responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems.
  • In addition to all responsibilities of a project manager which include managing all aspects of a project including initiating, planning, executing, closing and controlling.
  • Coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers around project management methodology.
  • Determines project scope; develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans.
  • Develops training plans; develops requirements documents; develops project approval matrix; identifies project team training and tool needs; defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for technical services and products.
  • Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms.
  • Defines quality gates for each project methodology phase; defines critical success factors; establishes and manages the project warranty period.
  • Acts as subject matter expert for project and program management related tools and processes.
    Qualifications
    Tech Project Leader
    Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Information Technology or related major. 2-3 years of experience as a member of a project team, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
  • Experience with MS Project preferred.
    Tech Project Manager
    Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS in information systems or related major; minimum of 3 years project management experience and 3-5 years experience in broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications and/or data warehouse planning and development or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in project management during which at least 2 years are spent working in a lead role on one or more projects.
  • Experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization required.
  • Knowledge or experience with project management tools, documentation tools, and reporting tools required.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Experience working with portfolio management applications and Rational tools preferred (MS Project).
    Tech Project Management Senior
    Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years project management experience in broad-based information systems.
  • Full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications and/or data warehouse planning and development with 3 years leading and directing project tasks; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Requires experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Requires experience working with project management tools, documentation tools, and reporting tools required.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with portfolio management applications and Rational tools strongly preferred (MS Project).
  • Experience with PowerPoint preferred.
